Australian boulder opal mined in Quilpie, Queensland. Flanked with cubic zirconia, aquamarine and apatite (top to bottom). This sterling silver ring was made with the lost wax method.
Please note - the boulder opal in this ring has been affected by high heat, which altered its colouring from a vibrant green/gold to a pastel blue. The ring has no other damage and still shows great colour flashes in the light, however as the opal has essentially been heat treated (unintentionally), the price of this ring has been discounted accordingly. The other stones were not impacted by the same heat stress.
